Basketball Recap: Grove City Christian Takes a Loss

Grove City Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The match between them and the London Red Raiders didn't end well, with the Grove City Christian Eagles falling 61-45. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 76-55 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Grove City Christian still got an impressive performance from Landon Brunicardi, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points. Those 26 points gave Brunicardi a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Josiah Harmeyer, who posted eight points in addition to 12 boards and five assists.

Grove City Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for London, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Grove City Christian will host Berne Union at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grove City Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season. As for London, they will venture away from home to square off against North Union at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
