Football Recap: Rhinelander Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rhinelander can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Edgewood Crusaders and fell 35-7. While losing is never fun, the Hodags can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Crusaders are ranked 66th).

Rhinelander's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Edgewood, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Rhinelander does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edgewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Reedsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
