Football Recap: Pittsfield Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Pittsfield kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 29-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverton Hawks. The Saukees were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Pittsfield's loss came despite strong showings from Jonas Anderson and Bodie Marable. Anderson threw for 193 yards and three TDs on only 13 passes, while Marable picked up 31 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Gradyn Hartlaub looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 99 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 187 yards while completing 77.3% of his passes.
