Baseball Recap: Glencoe Takes a Loss

Glencoe lost against McMinnville on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crimson Tide fell 6-2 to the Grizzlies. The Crimson Tide just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Glencoe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Penner, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run. Carter Fanning also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Glencoe's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for McMinnville, they pushed their record up to 20-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Glencoe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
