Volleyball Recap: Sachse Mustangs vs. Wylie Pirates
Sachse was the 3-0 winner over Wylie when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sachse Mustangs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wylie Pirates on Friday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sachse took a 1-1 lead headed into the third set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-11, 20-25, 25-12, 25-17.
Sachse's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-15. As for Wylie, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 24-6.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing South Garland the next time they take the court. Sachse will head out to face South Garland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Wylie will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
