Softball Recap: Florence/Henry Extends Road Winning Streak to Nine

Florence/Henry had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the Baltic Bulldogs by a score of 5-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Florence/Henry pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.9 runs over those games. As for Baltic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Florence/Henry and Baltic will both be playing Castlewood the next time they take the field. The Falcons will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
