Basketball Recap: Spring Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

Spring Baptist Academy lost against Faith Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spring Baptist Academy Royals fell 44-31 to the Faith Christian Saints.

Faith Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Yulissa DelaRosa out in front who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 13 steals. DelaRosa is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 25 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Tomlison, who posted six points along with 22 boards and three steals.

Spring Baptist Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Faith Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

As of now, neither Spring Baptist Academy nor Faith Christian have any future games scheduled.
