Recap: Robbinsville Black Knights vs. Brevard Blue Devils
The Robbinsville Black Knights were the 56-55 winner over the Brevard Blue Devils when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Robbinsville's tough 64-42 defeat to Brevard on Friday might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Robbinsville has scored all season.
Brevard's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eli Griffin, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The match was Griffin's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tre Crite, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds.
Robbinsville's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Brevard, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.
Robbinsville will be playing at home against Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highlands is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Brevard and Patton will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Patton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
