Baseball Recap: Faith Christian Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Faith Christian took on Frontier on Thursday. The Eagles lost 13-3 to the Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 on Tuesday.

Darius Livingston was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Faith Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-6. As for Frontier, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faith Christian will venture away from home to take on North Newton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frontier, they will head out to challenge West Lafayette at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
