Football Recap: Edwin O. Smith Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Joey Baker and Sean Podosek

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Edwin O. Smith was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against the Farmington River Hawks, falling 35-13. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the River Hawks from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Edwin O. Smith's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sean Podosek, who threw for 147 yards and one touchdown, and Joey Baker, who picked up 47 receiving yards and one score.

Edwin O. Smith now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Farmington, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
