Volleyball Recap: Blackford Comes Up Short

Blackford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the South Adams Starfires. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Starfires when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-8.

Kinze Clamme paced Blackford's offense, picking up seven kills. Clamme got some help from Jordynn Gephart and her 16 assists.

Blackford's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Adams, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Blackford will be playing in front of their home fans against Frankton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Adams, they will square off against Winchester Community at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
