Volleyball Game Preview: Powell Panthers vs. Cody Broncs + How To Watch

Powell is 1-9 against Cody since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Panthers will challenge the Broncs at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Powell took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Worland.

Powell was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 19-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Cody faced Lovell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Broncs had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Broncs in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

Cody got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The final score came out to 24-26, 20-25, 25-16, 31-29, 15-11.

Cody's win bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Powell, their victory bumped their record up to 16-13-1.

Powell might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Cody in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
