Chisum lost to Lone Oak back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Chisum Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lone Oak Buffaloes, sneaking past 58-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Chisum is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Lone Oak, they moved to 14-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Rains the next time they take the court. Chisum will host Rains at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lone Oak will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
