Basketball Game Preview: Leipsic Vikings vs. Miller City Wildcats

Leipsic hasn't had much luck against Miller City recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Leipsic Vikings just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Miller City Wildcats at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Leipsic ended up a good deal behind Liberty-Benton and lost 61-47. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Miller City put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 65-64 win over Maumee Valley Country Day. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Miller City pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Leipsic, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Leipsic suffered a grim 65-40 defeat to Miller City in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Leipsic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
