East Central waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 67-57 win over the Fort Gibson Tigers. While the Cardinals didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

East Central pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Fort Gibson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

When East Central and Fort Gibson next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. East Central will try to stop Lincoln Christian's five-game winning streak when the meet at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Fort Gibson will face off against Catoosa and their ten-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
