Volleyball Preview: Holyoke Purple Knights vs. Southwick Regional Rams
Holyoke has been away from home for five games now, but on Thursday they'll finally make their return. They will host the Southwick Regional Rams at 4:30 p.m.
Last Tuesday, Holyoke came up short against Pittsfield and fell 3-1.
While Holyoke had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21.
Meanwhile, Southwick Regional made easy work of Athol on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.
The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 25-23.
Holyoke has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Southwick Regional, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.
