Baseball Recap: Sidney Eagles vs. Lone Peak Big Horns

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Sidney was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lone Peak Big Horns. Sidney was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lone Peak apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on April 5th.

Gradin Sukut made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayson Radke, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and an RBI.

Sidney's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Lone Peak, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Sidney will look to defend their home field on Monday against Stanley at 6:00 p.m. Sidney is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season. Lone Peak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
