Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Clint

The Mountain View Lobos will venture away from home to square off against the Clint Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Mountain View and Austin had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Mountain View fell 3-1 to Austin on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Lobos in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Clint was not quite Bowie's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 1-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clint's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.
