Soccer Recap: Walhalla Comes Up Short

Walhalla came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Pickens Blue Flame, falling 4-1.

Walhalla's goal came courtesy of Geraldine Alanis, which was the first she's scored this season.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pickens, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walhalla will head out to face off against Crescent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Walhalla's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Pickens, they will venture away from home to square off against Blue Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will also give Pickens their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
