Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Baraga

If Johnston wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Baraga, they should've done a better job of containing Daniel Connor. The Baraga Vikings walked away with a 46-34 win over the Johnston Speedboys on Monday thanks in part to Connor, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

The victory made it two in a row for Baraga and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Johnston, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Watersmeet the next time they take the court. Baraga will host Watersmeet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Johnston will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th.
