Basketball Recap: Enterprise Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Enterprise kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Northwest Rankin Cougars by a score of 64-62. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since December 20, 2024.

Northwest Rankin's victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Enterprise won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Archbishop McCarthy at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest Rankin, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Anderson County at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Mavericks have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
