Softball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Nolensville. They came up short against the Knights on Thursday, falling 16-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost eight in a row.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Nolensville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will host Shelbyville Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nolensville, they will square off against Warren County at 5:50 p.m. on Friday.
