Heppner waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 56-39 win over the Grant Union Prospectors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-24 back in January.

Heppner's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Grant Union, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 18 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heppner will welcome Irrigon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Heppner is facing Irrigon at the right time seeing as Irrigon is stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Grant Union, they will be playing at home against Weston-McEwen at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
