KIPP Denver Collegiate's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nicole Ricalday, who almost dropped a double-double on ten rebounds and nine steals. Ricalday is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last five games she's played. Shaila Ramirez was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to six boards and six steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kennedy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They strolled past DSST: Montview with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 47-32.

Kennedy pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for KIPP Denver Collegiate, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
