Choctawhatchee extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Diaris Morales. Everything went the Choctawhatchee Indians' way against the Niceville Eagles on Tuesday as the Choctawhatchee Indians made off with a 27-6 victory with plenty of help from Morales, who threw for 261 yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in passing yards.

Choctawhatchee didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Maddy Faris, Jahlah Clarke, and Jaynia Brown picked up one apiece. Clarke got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Choctawhatchee's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average over those games. As for Niceville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Choctawhatchee didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-14 victory against Pace on the 12th. Niceville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tate at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
