Basketball Recap: Niles West Comes Up Short at Home Against Antioch

Niles West unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 48-32 fall against the Antioch Sequoits on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Heidi Rathmann was the offensive standout of the game as she posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Scarlett Carroll, who scored seven points.

Looking ahead, Niles West will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Forest Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Antioch, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
