Volleyball Game Preview: Lodi Academy Titans vs. Vanguard College Prep Lions

Lodi Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Humphreys Able Charter on Monday. The Titans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Legacy.

Lodi Academy never let Humphreys Able Charter on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 25-15.

Lodi Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Han Rocky, who had 18 digs. Another player making a difference was Cedric Johnson, who had ten digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, Vanguard College Prep beat Varsity Opponent 3-1 on Friday.

Vanguard College Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-6, 25-8, 25-10.

Vanguard College Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lodi Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Lodi Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Vanguard College Prep in their previous meeting last Monday, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
