Baseball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem lost against Northside two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 9-8.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Northside, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salem will welcome Cave Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northside, they will host Hidden Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
