Softball Recap: South Beauregard Beats Ville Platte for Their Second Straight Victory

With a playoff win on the line, South Beauregard rose to the challenge on Saturday. They beat the Ville Platte Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-1. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for South Beauregard and bumps their season record up to 17-15. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Ville Platte, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

South Beauregard will square off against Many at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. Ville Platte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
