Prestonwood Christian won against John Paul II two weeks ago with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Lions were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Brock Eagles. Considering the Lions have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Prestonwood Christian's 12th in a row) raised their record to 25-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Brock, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 23-3.

Prestonwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brock, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Levelland on the 1st.
