Basketball Recap: Johnstown Christian Comes Up Short

Johnstown Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 54-34 to the Hyndman Charter School Hornets. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 38-32 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Johnstown Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hyndman Charter School, they moved to 1-9 with that victory, which also ended their 23-game losing streak.

Johnstown Christian and Huntingdon Christian Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Hyndman Charter School, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Blacklick Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Blacklick Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.
