Volleyball Recap: Green Run Comes Up Short

Green Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Salem Sundevils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sundevils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Green Run's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Salem, their victory ended a ten-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Run will square off against Norview at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Salem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kellam at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
