Baseball Recap: York County Tech Takes a Loss

York County Tech lost against Bermudian Springs back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-2.

York County Tech saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Combs, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Brody Sterner also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

York County Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Bermudian Springs, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Coming up, York County Tech will welcome Biglerville at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bermudian Springs, they will head out on the road to challenge Hanover at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
