Softball Recap: William Penn Charter's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

If William Penn Charter was riding high fresh off their 19-4 takedown of Academy-Notre Dame De Namur last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Quakers lost 7-1 to the Ocean City Raiders on Saturday. The game marked the Quakers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, William Penn Charter fell to 5-1. As for Ocean City, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, William Penn Charter will square off against Springside at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ocean City, they will take on Delaware Military Academy in a tournament on Sunday.
