Baseball Recap: Cocalico Comes Up Short

Cocalico lost against Donegal back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Indians, falling 11-3. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Cocalico saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dane Horning, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Logan Horning also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Cocalico's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Donegal, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cocalico will challenge Solanco at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Donegal, they will face off against Garden Spot at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
