Basketball Recap: Weatherford Christian Takes a Loss

Weatherford Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Breckenridge Buckaroos, falling 65-43. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1221st, while the Buckaroos are ranked 318th).

Weatherford Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Breckenridge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Cisco the next time they take the court. Breckenridge will host Cisco at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Weatherford Christian will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
