Volleyball Game Preview: Spring Hill Panthers vs. Pine Tree Pirates

Spring Hill has won five straight games at home, while Pine Tree has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Pirates at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Friday, Spring Hill made easy work of Chapel Hill and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Spring Hill was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Pine Tree got the win against Cumberland Academy on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-15.

Pine Tree's win bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Spring Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 28-6.

Spring Hill took their win against Pine Tree when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
