Softball Game Preview: Holderness Bulls vs. Tilton School Rams

The Holderness Bulls will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Tilton School Rams at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Proctor Academy hit Holderness with a four-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulls came up short against the Hornets, falling 15-5. The Bulls haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Tilton School strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let New Hampton School get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Tilton School got a massive performance out of Bella Dionne, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Vrianna Mella, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Tilton School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Hampton School only posted an OBP of .000.

Tilton School's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Holderness, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
