Volleyball Recap: Madison Bobcats vs. Bingham Miners

After a string of 28 wins dating back to last season, Madison's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bingham Miners by a score of 3-2. The loss put an end to the Bobcats' undefeated start to the season.

Madison took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-17, 23-25, 25-21, 15-10.

Bingham had a senior duo take command as Jessica Truong had 30 digs and two aces and Mckenna Lambson had seven digs and 13 assists. Those 30 digs set a new season-high mark for Truong.

Having lost for the first time this season, Madison fell to 27-1. As for Bingham, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.

Madison has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lone Peak on the 11th. As for Bingham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Ridgeline on the 11th.
