Recap: Owensville Dutchmen vs. Linn Wildcats
The Owensville Dutchmen won the last time they faced the Linn Wildcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Owensville walked away with a 43-32 win over Linn.
When it comes to explaining why Linn lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kiana Hostetler. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Owensville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Linn, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Owensville will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Helias at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024. As for Linn, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Fatima at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
