Baseball Recap: Manchester Township Triumphs

Manchester Township won the last time they faced Freehold Township and things went their way on Monday too. The Hawks came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 7-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Justyce Garcia was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Josh Rommel, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Manchester Township's record is now 7-12. As for Freehold Township, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester Township will host Middletown North at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Freehold Township, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Point Pleasant Boro at 4:00 p.m.
