A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prattville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Smiths Station, who comes in off a win.

Smiths Station took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over Glenwood.

Meanwhile, Prattville suffered their biggest loss since April 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 16-6 to Calera. The Lions have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Madelyn Putteet made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. Sarah Faulkner also deserves some recognition as she stole her first stolen base of the season.

Even though they lost, Prattville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. The last time their OBP was this high was in their last 11 games.

Prattville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Smiths Station, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7-1.
