Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Desert Edge

The Centennial Coyotes and the Desert Edge Scorpions will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Centennial had to take the L. They fell just short of Desert Mountain by a score of 1-0 two weeks ago. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Desert Edge's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Queen Creek by a score of 3-2.

Centennial now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Desert Edge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Everything went Centennial's way against Desert Edge when the teams last played back in December of 2017, as Centennial made off with a 6-1 win. Does Centennial have another victory up their sleeve, or will Desert Edge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
