Monroe is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Stoughton on Saturday, but Stoughton came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Cheesemakers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Vikings. That's two games straight that the Cheesemakers have won by just one run.

Monroe's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Stoughton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coming up, Monroe will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Oregon at 2:00 p.m. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cheesemakers surely won't give up without a fight.
