Softball Recap: Perry Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Evansville Central on Friday, Perry Central came back down to earth. The Commodores came up short against the Providence Pioneers on Saturday, falling 13-4. The contest marked the Commodores' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Perry Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Providence, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Perry Central will welcome Tell City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Providence, they will head out on the road to face off against Jeffersonville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
