Toledo Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks to the tune of 55-7. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-0.
Toledo Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sam Anderson and Karter Koester. Koester is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games.
Toledo Christian pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. Joseph Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Toledo Christian will host Holgate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Toledo Christian's defense has only allowed 4.7 points per game this season, so Holgate's offense will have their work cut out for them. St. Joseph Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
