Hiland is 10-0 against Claymont since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hiland Hawks will take on the Claymont Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Hiland will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Saturday, everything came up roses for Hiland against University School as the team secured a 54-25 victory. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Preppers are ranked 157th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Claymont scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They had to suffer through a 80-53 loss at the hands of Minerva. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered against the Lions since January 28, 2018.

Hiland's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Claymont, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Everything came up roses for Hiland against Claymont in their previous matchup back in February, as the squad secured a 61-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hiland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
