Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Carrabec walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Valley Cavaliers on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Cobras, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Carrabec is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

As of now, neither Carrabec nor the Cavaliers have any future games scheduled.
