Football Game Preview: Pine Grove vs. Williams Valley

On Friday Williams Valley take on Pine Grove at 7:00 PM. Williams Valley don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Williams Valley beat Line Mountain 13-7 last Friday. No one put up better numbers for Williams Valley than senior Levi Engle, who brought his A game into the match. He accumulated 184 passing yards and punched in 1 rushing TD. Engle has been a consistent playmaker for Williams Valley as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Pine Grove weren't quite Juniata's equal in the second half when they met. Pine Grove took a 20-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Juniata.

Everything came up roses for Williams Valley against Pine Grove the last time the two teams met as the squad secured a 62-7 victory. Will Williams Valley repeat their success, or does Pine Grove have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
