Softball Recap: Casteel Colts vs. Chaparral Firebirds
Casteel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chaparral Firebirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 12-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
